City Garage Receives "Best Ensemble" nod among other LA Weekly Theater Award Nominations
The LA Weekly has announced the nominations for its 2010 season Theater Awards, and City Garage already has one win and four nominations; winners will be announced April 4, 2011.
This year's LA Weekly Theater Awards will be given out April 4, 2011 at the El Rey on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile. One award that has been announced in advance goes to City Garage Artistic Director Frederique Michel and Managing Director Charles Duncombe: "Best Translation" for their new version of The Marriage of Figaro.
City Garage's other nominations this year include:
- Best Comedy Ensemble (Paradise Park)
- Best Production Design (Paradise Park)
- Best Costumes (Josephine Poinsot, The Marriage of Figaro)
- Best Female Comedy Performance (Cynthia Mance, The Marriage of Figaro)
