Like all nonprofit arts groups, we partly depend on contributed income to make up each year's budget. Box office alone can never do it. We're a Federally-approved, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) and all that. Contributions, less the value of anything received (like tickets, for instance) are tax deductible.
We have five different categories of giving: Founders, Sponsors, Patrons, Friends, and City Garage Union Members.
- Founder $1000+ Founders receive special backstage invitations to all Opening Night Parties, a pair of season tickets, and a permanent plaque with your name on the Founder's Wall in the lobby.
- Sponsor $500 Sponsors receive a pair of season tickets, and an invitation to a backstage company "Sponsor's Night" Party.
- Patron $250 Patrons receive a pair of tickets to your choice of any three productions in the year's season.
- Friend $100 Friends of the company receive a pair of tickets to a production of your choice in the year's season.
- Union $25 Union members are entitled to discounted admission, invitations to special events, and an invitation to our annual City Garage bash where the entire company gets together to thank all the people who have helped us throughout the year. You also receive regular mailings about everything going on at the theatre: play schedules, openings, fund-raisers, and special events.

All of our contributors are gratefully acknowledged in the supporter list of our programs. The Aresis Ensemble is a federally-registered tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation. Contributions, minus the fair market value of tickets received ($25 per ticket) qualify as tax-deductible according to IRS rules.
